Airplanes, fireworks and entertainment will be part of the action as a full week of “The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration” reaches a spectacular finale during the final three days of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010, which will be held July 26-August 1 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
For the first time, aircraft buyers and sellers at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh will be able to rely on more than handbills, want ads and word-of-mouth, as the “Spirit of Aviation Auction” will be held on the AirVenture grounds on Saturday, July 31.

A full-scale reproduction of a 1933 Stinson Model O, or Senior Trainer, will appear at AirVenture Oshkosh this summer, reports H.G. Frautschy, executive director of the EAA Vintage Aircraft Association. The plane, a two-place parasol flown from the front seat, was the only open cockpit aircraft ever produced by Stinson.
President Obama will deliver a speech at NASA in Cape Canaveral, Florida Thursday afternoon (April 15) which means Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) 4998 and 4996 will be in place within a 30-mile radius of NASA’s Florida launch facility.
