First Air Show Appearance for PiperJet at AirVenture

Piper Aircraft Inc. has announced plans to bring its new, single-engine jet, the PA-47 PiperJet, to AirVenture Oshkosh this summer, which the company says will be the first time the aircraft will appear at an air show.

NTSB calls for grounding of Zodiac CH-601XL fleet

Aero-News Network is reporting that the NTSB is asking the FAA to prohibit further flight of Zodiac CH-601XL until a determination can be made on 4 accidents in the United States and two in Europe involving CH-601XL’s.   The NTSB also cites concerns with the ASTM standards used to certify almost all LSA aircraft.
